Note: I never bothered to learn how to code in cookies, so this does NOT save your progress! If you close the tab or click away it will all be lost, so be sure to screenshot your creation before that happens.
DMC color suggestions are generated with a nearest-distance formula and a table of the threads' RGB approximations. Don't take them as gospel-- the colors on your screen will not perfectly match the real-life thread colors, so double-check the threads and be prepared to switch them out if they're not working.
Everything this generator creates is in the public domain; you are free to share/sell/remix/redistribute any and all of it, without attribution, including for commercial purposes. That means sell the patterns, sell finished pieces, sell kits, whatever. Go nuts. I love you. Happy pride. 🏳️🌈
*If you allow duplicates, the key may behave a little strangely-- it will not consolidate duplicate colors into a single symbol.
