I hadn't tried making a 'pretty lady'-style cross stitch before (think big hair, swooshy gown, beads), so I tried it out! The finished pattern is the Stitching Song Miku in the Hiding in Your Wi-Fi zine.
There were a lot of moving parts that went into making the 2026 Pi Day Nonogram Stitch-a-Long-- making the design, wrangling it until its pieces all worked as nonograms, AND getting the thread length/stitch count numbers in the design to be accurate. Also I got sick midway. This is the log of all that!

I got my hands on a emulated copy of 'Cross Stitch Master' for the Commodore Amiga, circa 1992! It's a charming program, so this is me messing with it and showing it off.
