Mark my words, you guys-- every year I inch closer and closer to actually tryna make this game
Inspired in large part by the classic arcade game Logic Pro II, this is my take on what a cross-stitch video game might look like; arrow keys control your needle, WASD moves your view window, numbers are the thread colors, left and right shift keys flip through the pages of your pattern, and spacebar is to stitch. Not pictured: I figure CTRL or possibly Enter would toggle whether you're doing full stitches on the main grid or backstitching on the secondary grid.
This one's another Xstitch Mag piece, for their 'Yay!' issue, and photo four is by the inestimable Stacy Kempe, the magazine photographer.
