A goose swimming in the moonlight, for Xstitch Magazine's Namaste issue-- both geese and the moon have been favorite topics before, and they will be again!
This one's a fair shake different than most of the others-- often I like to cram a lot into a piece, but I tried to take a different tack here and let it breathe. I like the result quite a lot.
This one was inspired, of course, by the real-life geese of the world, and our own Earthling moon, and my many hours spent watching the both of them, but it was also inspired by the 1990 LucasArts game Loom. It's a phenomenally beautiful game; I can't recommend it enough!
